Hi I'm Wolfgang

I started out in Texas and ended up in Oregon. I am a father of 7. I am a soccer fanatic. I am a Mormon

About Me

God, family, soccer in that order. I have always had a close relationship with my Father in Heaven and my savior and brother Jesus Christ. It is them who guided my to my wife. It is she who guided my to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Neither of us planned to have seven kids but again it was what the Lord wanted of us and I cannot be richer for it. All of our kids attend a virtual online public school which means that my wife has them out home week days rather than sending them off to school. I play soccer as often as I can, about 4 times a week. I also coach soccer and thus far have coached 6 of my seven kids. I am just waiting for the youngest to be old enough to start playing and then I will have coached all of them. I enjoy amateur rocketry. Each summer I take my kids to a big rocket launch in Oregon where we launch our rockets and get to seem some extreme launches that reach 20,000 feet high. I read about 5-6 books a year all in a 2 week span each summer while sitting on a beach during my family vacation.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in the Catholic church I was always drawn to the priesthood. As I grew up I considered becoming a priest but could never reconcile having to choose between a family and the priesthood. Later in live I was thrilled when I found a church that offered both. After much investigations, 5 years, the Lord answered my many questions and I received a testimony that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is God's restored church on the earth. I am now a father and a priesthood holder enjoying all the blessing my Father in heaven has prepared for me in this world.

How I live my faith

There is nothing extra-ordinary about how I live my faith. I attend church every week. While on vacation with my family we enjoy attending church meetings in whatever city or town we find ourselves on Sunday. We strive to keep the sabbath day holy by keeping the TV off and doing shopping and other work on other days of the week. I find great joy in doing my family history work and helping others with their family history by indexing archived birth, marriage and death records to other will be ore able to find their ancestors. Every evening I gather my family together to kneel in prayer. I try to read my scriptures daily, write in my journal and hold personal prayer. I strive to follow the promptings of the Spirit. I teach an early morning religion class for high school students. I strive to keep and honor the covenants that I have made thru baptism and in the temple.
