Hi I'm Jessica

I live in the portland area. I love watching storms and, I love to run in the rain. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to run. Running a Marathon is on my life bucket list. I love feeling like I have accomplished something hard after I have finished running. I also like art I hope to illustrate a children’s book someday. I attend Brigham Young University Idaho, but I am putting my Education on hold while I serve a full time Mission in New Mexico for 18 months.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I know that I am strengthened as I follow its teaching. This religion gives me hope for the future and gives me peace in my day-to-day life. All together this church brings me comforted and true happiness.

How I live my faith

I am a firm believer in that “the small and simple things make a big difference”—that is how I try to live my faith. I read my scriptures and pray on a daily bases. I try to spend quality time with my family and loved ones. I aim to be kind and honest with all the people I come in contact with. But the main way that I live my faith is by trusting in the lord.

What is Mormonism? OR What do Mormons believe?

"Mormon" is just a nickname for our church. The Real name of our church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Or LDS for short. LDS people believe that the same gospel that was on the earth when Christ lived, is once again on the earth. Gods has prophets, apostles and has restored the priesthood power to this world.
