Hi I'm Caytee

I'm a tennis player, a runner, a Mom and a wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a Mom! My husband and I are privileged to be raising 5 young kids who are a constant source of entertainment and joy for us! I grew up playing competitive tennis and continue to play any chance I get. I love to run! I've completed a few half and full marathons, including the Boston Marathon! I love to cook and cuddle up with a good book. I love to learn! I received an undergraduate degree in accounting and an MBA from Brigham Young University.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all my life, but it wasn't until my freshman year of college that I really gained a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and of the joy and peace that is so often spoken of in the scriptures. I attended a small school in Southern California. I was alone, lonely and my beliefs were challenged. I read the Book of Mormon cover to cover for the first time and I knew it was true. I knew that Heavenly Father heard my prayers and guided me during a difficult time of life. I am a Mormon because I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and have a plan for each of us. I am a Mormon because of the way I feel when I live close to Christ. When I try to live close to Christ, my days go better, I am less irritable, I am sweeter to my husband, more patient with my kids, I worry less, I am at peace and I feel joy. Those are not gifts I have given myself, those are truly the fruits of the Gospel and a gift from Jesus Christ. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith everyday in the way I act, speak and spend my time. I am far from being the person I would like to become, but I know that everyday is a chance to become better. I serve in a women's organization in the church. My favorite part of those assignments is the chance I get to know other women and find small and simple ways to make a positive difference in their lives. My favorite children's song is "If the Savior stood beside me." I try, not always successfully, to live each moment as if the Savior truly "stood beside me." I have a long way to go, but I know through the atonement of Christ, day by day, I can slowly become the person that I would like to be - that the Savior would like me to be.
