Hi I'm Ryan

Born and raised in Southern California. I love sports and anything outdoors. Soy Boricua. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love all sports, anything outdoors, and I am a sucker for board games as well. I am a pretty chill person and I'm always trying to stay active and outgoing. I am a college student and working part-time. I served a full-time mission in the Puerto Rico San Juan Mission from November 2010-November 2012.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know by the power of the Holy Ghost that the doctrines that I have learned are true. I have felt that peaceful feeling and burning within me confirming to me on numerous occasions that I have found truth. Nothing else can make me any happier than living my life to the fullest and within the bounds the Lord has set. My conviction is rooted in fact that Jesus Christ is our Savior and the fullness of the Gospel was restored to the earth. Through prayer and study I have learned for myself that The Book of Mormon and Bible are true which stands as a witness of the divinity of Christ and restoration of His Gospel. Nothing is more satisfying than that peaceful feeling I feel when I know I am doing what He asks of me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by starting and ending every day on my knees. I keep myself busy with different activities in the church. Life is to be enjoyed and not just endured so I do my best to take advantage of time and enjoy every day with family and friends. I do all I can so that I know where I stand with the Lord and have that inner peace in knowing He has accepted my days work. Life is good!

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Family is so important to our faith because we believe that the family can become an eternal unit. We claim the authority to seal or bind husband to wife, and parents to children, for the life here after. The family also creates the environment where we can learn and grow to our greatest potential. Show more Show less
