Hi I'm Janiel

I'm a mother of nine children and twenty grandchildren. I'm an advocate for children and education. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Southern Utah. After my children were raised, I went back to school and got my degree in Elementary Education. I was Director of Preschool at Dixie University, and I also taught in the Headstart program. I enjoy planning family vacations, traveling, sewing, and 4-wheeling.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon home and was taught the Mormon religion throughout my life. I attended our church Seminary and Institute system while attending high school and college. This teaching and training allowed me to make my own decision whether I would like to continue my activity in the Mormon church. I learned to understand my relationship with Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father and knew that it was through the teachings of Mormonism that I would find true happiness and peace. I realized that I would be able to raise successful children by teaching them about Jesus Christ and the principles of His Gospel.

How I live my faith

In my church I have worked with the teenagers and young children teaching them truth, values and life skills. I also have enjoyed serving with my peers in planning and organizing meaningful activities to promote social and emotional understandings with each other.
