Hi I'm Jared

have lived in Utah my whole life and was captain of my schools swim team and section leader in the band, also unicycle.

About Me

I am someone with lots of different hobbies and I continually want to learn new skills and talents some of my main hobbies is swimming. I was on my high school swim team all four years and became swim captain my senior year. Our swim team was very successful through out every session winning regions three of the four years I was there and 2nd at state my senior year. I also participated in the school band for six years. I played the trumpet and became section leader for four years. I was in the jazz band for four years and the marching band for four years as well. I also like to ride my unicycle, and yes I can juggle and ride at the same time but I more enjoy extreme unicycling.

Why I am a Mormon

Basically I am a Mormon because I was born in the church. I am still an active Mormon because I know that the church makes me happier. I have learned that if you abide by the teachings of the church you will be happier and god will be happier and that's why I will always be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Well I go to church every Sunday and I've had many leadership positions. Right now I am getting ready to go to Sidney Australia to serve people and teach and bring them to our gospel.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Jared
We'll our Heavenly Father is the happiest person ever and wants his children to have the same happiness. So in order to have the same happiness as him we had to become like him. In order to accomplish this Heavenly Father gave us a great plan of happiness. We had to learn on earth out of god's presence, because if god was always right there telling us what to do we would never learn, we would just be following order and not doing what we think we should do. This life is also a test and if the teacher gave you all the answers on the test he wouldn't know how well you knew the topic, more importantly you wouldn't know how much of the topic you knew. Through trial and error and through others trials and errors we can learn what truly makes us happy, but then our father gave us commandments that we don't have to follow, but if we do we will have the most happiness on earth and the most happiness in the next life.
