Hi I'm Daniel

I grew up in Utah. I love engineering and have a passion for racing road bicycles. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm among the field of 18 year old missionaries that just graduated high school and are currently serving missions. I have a love for my family, my best friends, and for the fun times I have had growing up. Math and science got the nod for my fields of study with mechanical engineering being my major to complete after my mission. I purchased a road bicycle in 2011 and have been hooked ever since. Got started riding, turned into a bike shop employee, mechanic, and racer. I love the sport, but most important to me is the Church,my wonderful supportive family, and my close friends supporting me on my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up the Chruch with two wonderful parents and 3 siblings helping me along the way. I have always loved learning about the Gospel and for me, that love started when I attended the EFY program from the Church. I loved it so much that I went 4 times. You don't have to go to EFY to feel the spirit and be converted, but for me it happened that way. I love feeling the spirit so much, and I know without a doubt that the Church is true. I know that true happiness comes from living the Gospel and I know that I wouldn't have the blessed life that I have today being a missionary if I wasn't a Mormon. So much joy comes from giving Christ-like service and that is the central focus of the Church. Learning and growing in the church has given me the desire to learn more and more, and from that desire I have been blessed with the peace of knowing that I am a son of God and that I have infinite worth to him. I have a purpose in this life, and I know that I can be with my family forever through Christ. I love my Savior so much and I am again so grateful to be a full-time servant of the Lord. I know that Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only true church on the earth and that Thomas S. Monson is the Prophet in these days. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that the Book of Mormon is true. I am a firm believer that nothing in this life can come close to bringing one happiness than living this gospel. That's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love The Gospel of Jesus Christ so much and I believe that through living each and every day as if the savior were beside me helps me to live my faith. Reaching out to those in need, saying hi to everyone, or just giving a warm smile to someone unexpected really does make the world of difference to bring others to Christ. I have lived my faith by striving to be an example of a good missionary to those around me and always be positive about life. We are all here together and this life is so wonderful. The Church is true, the Book of Mormon is the word of God, Jesus is the Christ, and Thomas S. Monson is the true prophet today. So much happiness comes from living our faith in every choice we make. Serving a mission is such a blessing in my life and I know that I have been called from God to help spread his gospel to his children seeking for the truth. Live The Gospel 100% of the time, and keep the faith.
