Hi I'm Estefani

I am a daughter, a friend and a future wife/mother and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a sophomore in University, studying Health Science. I am going to be a Physician Assistant, specialized in pediatrics. I was always the first one to raise my hand when people from the church asked for volunteers to babysit their kids. I believe everyone is a kid from the heart. I enjoy from reading a book to hiking mountains. I played basketball, tennis and soccer for middle and high school.

Why I am a Mormon

I wasn't born in the church, my mom met the missionaries through her friend. I got baptized when I was 12 years old, so honestly I didn't know what I was doing but following my mom's steps. It wasn't until I was attending one of the classes at church that I gained my own testimony about the Book of Mormon, my junior year of high school I read several chapters each night for a week. I started to felt something like I never felt before. A feeling of joy that overwhelmed me, I felt radiant, even my friends were able to tell. I felt stronger than ever to say "no" to any bad decision that came up to me. It is the greatest feeling, it is so great I would love everyone to feel it, therefore I decided to serve a mission where I will invite others to come unto Christ and gain their testimony about the Book of Mormon. I know because I have felt it in my heart that the church has helped me throughout my life, not only physically when I was sick but emotionally and most importantly spiritually. I don't ever feel lonely anymore.

How I live my faith

The way I live my faith is similar to others, that is by reading the Bible and the Book of Mormon to gain a better knowledge about my purpose here on earth. By attending to church to renew my covenants I made when I was baptized 10 years ago. By being obedient to federal laws, and the commandments of the Lord. By acting upon all these and more things that will take me back to my Heavenly Father once I reach death. And that's not all..... I live my faith by being involved in the church. I have loved every single calling I've been asked to do at church, it all comes down to accepting the Lord's wants. Teaching the primary about Jesus Christ was one of my best, it's amazing how kids look up to older people, they watch and do. Attending to girls camp as the Director's Assistant- great to see the girls being out in the wilderness and learning how to survive spiritually and physically, against the wicked world, and against poison plants. These two and other callings have kept my testimony and faith, stronger each day. Act upon your faith is what I was taught, and will always live for.
