Hi I'm Catherine Marie

I'm a ballroom dancer, a future teacher, a friend and sister, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student at Brigham Young University. I'm majoring in mathematics education and hoping to minor in ballroom dance. I am the second to youngest of six children and I grew up in a small town in Northern California. I moved to Reno, Nevada in the middle of high, and struggled with the adjustment for a while, but then I grew to love the members of my ward and my friends at school. In high school I ran track and cross country. I was not fast, but I still continued to run. I've donated my hair to locks of love every two and a half to three years since I was in third grade. I had braces. I love to smile. I love to make food and feed people. I love to belt out songs no matter where I am or who might be watching. Family is the most important to me and I love to spend time with my nieces.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this religion is the only thing that makes sense to me. This earth would not have purpose to me if life ends at death, but I know it continues on. I know that we have the opportunity to live with our families and our Heavenly Father forever. We will be with those loved ones we have lost again, and we will be able to continually move forward and progress in happiness.

How I live my faith

College students tend to serve in many different callings. I've been a secretary, a chorister, a group president, and a member of of various committees. Most of all, I try to be a friend. I listen when someone needs to talk, and I make a point of being there.
