Hi I'm Amanda

I grew up in Utah. I am a student and a photographer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a young student in my last year of college. I have been married for about 10 months now and I couldn't be happier. I love to do photography and I am majoring in photography. My dreams are to become a freelance photographer or to have my own studio and to become a mother when the time is right for my husband and I.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a Mormon but in my high school years I decided to go my own ways and didn't follow the teachings of the church. When I was in my sophomore year of college, I was unhappy. I had friends who were not the best to me and who let me down, which in turn dragged me down further. I was looking for some direction after I felt my life turned against me. I decided to go back to the church and with the blessings of our church I have been happier than I ever thought I would be. I have enjoyed multiple callings in my church that serves my Lord and serves his children. I continue to be part of this gospel because it brings me so much joy, joy that I never thought I would feel. With this gospel I have created direction in my life and my life is fuller and happier than I ever expected.

How I live my faith

I have a church calling that works with the young kids of our church. The age range I work with is 18months to 2 years old. I love what I do with the church because I get to play with the kids, teach them lessons about Jesus Christ, and sing with them while their parents go to their meetings and lessons so they can feel the spirit. I love to attend church every week to feel the spirit and to gain more knowledge of my faith. I also like to attend as many activities held by my church because I get to strengthen my friendships with others while feeling the spirit through talks or experiences shared by others.
