Hi I'm Rachel

I grew up in Arizona. I've always loved learning about the body and I want to be a physician assistant. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated from college and got my Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. I can't wait to go to Physician Assistant school in a few years so I can help people. I love spending time with my friends and having fun! I also enjoy reading books and being outside.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church my whole life, but I've had to pray and study in order to get my own confirmation that this is the one true church of Jesus Christ. I have prayed for this knowledge multiple times and will continue to pray for it throughout my life. I do this not because I doubt the truth of this church, but because I want to always have a firm and unshakable testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I struggle with temptations and go through trials just like everyone else, and I know that the only way for me to make it through this life happy is to have a personal relationship with Christ and Heavenly Father. I have tried to go through trials without asking for Their help, and it was the hardest time of my life. I know that I can rely on the Atonement of Christ for all of my sorrows, pains, and trials and He will always be there to lift me up. He has never let me down and I will always be grateful for Him and the peace He brings into my life.

How I live my faith

I love going to church. I am in a singles' ward so everyone there is between 18-30 years old and single. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. We have wonderful meetings that are filled with the Spirit and I leave church every Sunday feeling loved by my friends, my Savior Jesus Christ, and my Heavenly Father. My ward has activities and game nights almost every night of the week and I have met so many new people in the past few months. For people who are not members of the Mormon church and even those not interested in the church, I would recommend going to our church even if it's just for the friendships and fun memories that will be made. I am so much happier when I go to church and learn about the gospel of Jesus Christ.
