Hi I'm Celeste

I'm a college student. I want to teach Elementary school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student studying to become an Elementary school teacher! I love teaching and helping kids learn. I recently got married to the man of my dreams and I couldn't be happier! Other than teach, I like to snowboard, camp, and play in the water. I also love playing games with friends!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents raised me as a member of the Church, I was baptized when I was 8, and I continue to be a faithful member. I have never doubted the truth of the Church; I have always known it in my heart to be true. I have prayed and studied about the Church and asked the Lord if it is right, and I know that it is! My faith is strong and unwavering. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that He loves me and knows me. I have felt His continued presence in my life, and I know that He is there to help me grow. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of the Lord, and I believe that he saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know the Book of Mormon to be a true book of scripture that testifies of Christ alongside the Bible. If you read it, you will feel the Spirit and know that it is true. That's what I did! I love the gospel because it makes me happy! I love knowing that there is life after we die, and I love knowing where I came from. I love knowing that I am a daughter of God, and that He cares about me. I love knowing that even if I mess up, Christ can forgive me through repentance. The gospel makes me happy, and for me, that is reason enough to believe.

How I live my faith

I love going to Church! I love Sunday because it gives me a day to reconnect with my Savior and reflect on the past week. I like to review myself and see what ways I can change and become better. I serve those I attend Church with through the Compassionate Service Committee. Through this committee, I reach out to the women of the group and serve them, whether it's through meals when they are sick or a quick hug when they are having a rough day.
