Hi I'm Louisa Griffith

I'm a Mormon. Happily married, mother of two boys. I live in CA, and dream of ways to express my love of life.

About Me

I'm a young, stay-at-home (play-at-home) mom to two extremely vibrant boys who love people and life as much as I do. I am married to my soul mate and best friend. I am passionate about health, writing/picture journals and keeping my families history, friendships, my husband, the gospel of Jesus Christ, and being the mother God wants me to be. I am a dreamer, but I love the messy truths of life. Laughing at my mistakes, and sharing them helps me to relate to other women in my life, and get to know others on a more personal level. I love to look on the bright side!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that were members of The Church if Jesus Christ if Latter-day Saints. I was baptized when I was 8 years old, and I was married in the Temple to my Husband. Though I was born into this life, I have still had to decide to be a Mormon. Every day of my life is filled with questions and decisions. When I was a teenager I asked God to help me to know that the church was true. I didn't want proof that comes from the world, because that kind of proof can always be tainted. I prayed to know in my heart, and feel it with every part of my spirit. I have been blessed time and time again with the feeling in my heart, that tells me that this is his gospel. I want to always have that feeling with me, so I can know that God is there, and that I am doing the right thing by following his gospel. I cling to his answers and his love and direction. Without them I would be lost. I need it all in my life, for my family, and for those around me. His gospel gives me purpose, and the strength to go forward every day.

How I live my faith

I believe in striving to see everyone the way God sees them. I love being a ward missionary, because I get to meet so many new people and make so many connections with those around me. I have such an appreciation for the gospel and how I have been brought up knowing that family is the highest priority, and the center of our purpose. It gives me so much direction when I have hard decisions to make in life. I know I that putting my family first is always the best choice. Being a mother is not easy, but it is my most precious calling to raise my children so that they can fulfill God's mission for them.
