Hi I'm Robert

I am a friend I am a brother I am an uncle I am a convert I love the Gospel I am Mormon.

About Me

I am a convert to the LDS church. I have been a member for 4 years now. I served a mission in Santiago Chile. The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has changed my life and I am forever grateful of that. Some of my favorite things is to just being with my friends. I love running, and I love swimming, I love playing my guitar. I also enjoy watching chick flicks :p.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a home that their teachings were not aligned with the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I also grew up in a home that it was hard to feel the love of God and or the love my family had for me. I also made my own mistakes in making thing even more difficult to feel the love of God in my life. Luckily God knew me so well He put a lovely lady in my path who eventually, after a long struggle for the both of us, brought me into the church. I would also mention the feelings of going to church for the first time, the love I felt there by the people and by the spirit. It was something I was looking for my whole life and I didn't even know it. My family was against the church and it was a hard decision for me to join the church knowing that my family would very much disapprove. It has been a long and hard journey, and I would have thought it was something I would do alone but it wasn't/ isn't God has helped me every step of the way and He will be there whenever I need Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be the person God wants of me. The gospel means the world to me. Being able to know that God loves me for who I am and has a plan for me is so precious to me. And being able to help Him in that is a gift and a privilege. I am a secretary, I help organize meetings and appointments for people to come in and get help spiritually or even temporally. It is a blessing to be able to see people leave the office with a smile or even a glow, knowing they felt better.
