Hi I'm Jace

I am From Salt Lake City, Utah. I served an LDS mission in Porto Alegre, Brazil. I love sports, And I'm A Mormon.

About Me

I am 22 years old. I work and go to school full-time. I am also married to the most beautiful wife and we don't have kids, yet. In my spare time I love to play sports. My favorite sport is Football, but I love to play basketball, baseball and my passion is golf. If I could, I would hit the links daily. That is what I look forward to at retirement time. ;) I also love to spend time with my family doing different activities. We love playing games or just sitting around a campfire talking and laughing. I also love to travel and hope to one day be able to travel the world. My greatest desire is to live comfortably and provide for my wife and kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I am able to know that what I am doing in life is what God has planned for me. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that this is his church and organization on the earth. I know that he has a prophet here on earth today, and is the mouthpiece for God to talk to his children today. I know these things because through a testimony of The Book of Mormon. Through stidy and prayer I was able to find out for myself that it is the word of God.

How I live my faith

Me and my wife love the ward we are in. The community of people in our church are so nice and so loving. When we first moved in and went to church the first week, we felt right at home and were taken in so warmly. Right now I serve in our ward as the Executive Secretary. I meet with the bishop and other leaders everyweek and talk on how we can help the members in our ward adn serve them better. I also work witht them in scheduling appointments for the members to meet with the Bishop and his counselors.

What is the priesthood?

God puts the priesthood on the earth to help him serve and help his children here on earth. God has always given his Prophets and disiples the power and authority to act in his name. In order to preach the gospel, give blessings, baptize and confirm to become members of the church, etc, one must have the authorization given directly from God in order to do so. The priesthood is that authority. It was given to Joseph Smith to start the restoration of the church and has been handed down by those to already have it, to those who are worthy to receive it.
