Hi I'm Parker Anderson

I grew up in Murray Utah. I play the violin. My passion is cars! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I REALLY love cars! I have always loved cars! I really love being outside. I love boating and camping and spending time with the family. I guess you could say that I am somewhat random and crazy, especially when I get hyper. It seems to be quite often. I really love to make people laugh. I will go to great lengths to make people laugh. Which makes me happy! I don't really play a lot of sports, although I don't mind play occasionally. I really like Baseball, Lacrosse, and wake boarding. I think I really just love to be in the sun. I could sit in the sun and do nothing for hours and be totally okay with it! To me family is so important! I really love my family! I have a mom and a dad, one sister who is married with three kids and of course a large extended family! We also consider the family dog part of the family! I really love to be with my friends They are really important to me. You can have zero possessions in life, but you will always have a family and you will always be able to have friends. I tend to be somewhat of a what I like to call a "realist." All in all, it usually turns out to be a bad thing. Sometimes, when I think of what could happen, I don't do certain things because I "know" what the outcome will be. It is something that I struggle with, but when I don't let that happen, I really like going out everyday and not letting my fears keep me from doing something that I really want to do or know that I should do.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Because I have seen so many blessings! I have received confirmation through prayer that the things that we believe are TRUE! I have seen such great happiness come into my own life when I choose to do what is right! I have also seen, on the other hand, what it is like to not know true happiness what I am making choices that aren't in-line with what God expects of us! I choose to be Mormon because it teaches of the true nature of Jesus Christ! It teaches us how to live, how to raise a family, how to be an example to others and how to eventually return to live with God. I choose to be Mormon because of the Plan of Salvation. It answers the questions of my soul! It teaches me where I came from, why I am here on Earth, and where I am going after I die. And that brings me great comfort to know that! I have had many people that I love pass away, but because I know of the Plan of Salvation and the importance of families and of God's plan for me and for you, I have peace and comfort knowing that I will see those loved ones again and that physical death is just a temporary situation!

How I live my faith

When I think of how I should live my faith, I think of the ultimate example, Jesus Christ. I guess you could say that I try to follow His example! He was amazing at showing compassion, especially to those whose choices had left them in not so desirable circumstances. So that is exactly what I try to do. I try to show compassion. I also love to serve! Service brings other people joy, it is great fun, and it brings us closer to God. Another way I show my faith is by trying to find at least one or two people every day that I can serve! Sometimes it turns out to be something small or something seemingly minuscule, but I always think about how it might put a smile on somebody's face. I also love to share what I believe! I believe that we have been asked by God to share what we know to be true! So that is what I do! I share what I know to be true, that being the gospel of Jesus Christ! I love to share the importance of families and of making good choices and of the good news of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I love sharing with others that God, who is out Father in Heaven, loves us and is mindful of us! I love to see how people can experience TRUE happiness!

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Parker Anderson
You can know that Mormonism is true by praying to know of it's truthfulness, studying the scriptures, specifically the Book of Mormon, experience of the blessings doing these things and the feelings you have when you don't, and by keeping Gods commandments. You can know, just like millions of other people know that the church is true ONLY by your own willingness and desire to know it. Show more Show less
