Hi I'm Shelby Hill

I love being outdoors, I love being around people, and I am serving as an LDS missionary in Busan, South Korea.

About Me

I was born in Utah, raised in Maine. I was born into an all LDS member family. I absolutely love doing anything that concerns the outdoors, or being active. I love spending time with my family, it's to the point where I would rather spend time with my family then date, or hang out with my friends, they are really just that great. I love being social and getting to know people. I love finding out others' life stories. I am currently serving an 18 month mission in Busan, South Korea.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church ( meaning my parents were already members) but I like everyone else had to become converted, and know for myself that I was believing in something real, and true. When I was ten years old I was seriously questioning the veracity of the church and remember kneeling down and praying to know if it was true. The feeling that swept into my heart is unlike any other feeling. There has been several other times that I have doubted and questioned if what I was believing in is true, and all I have to do is pray, and the feeling comes back. I am a Mormon, because it just makes sense. I am a Mormon because it makes me a better person. People may not be perfect, but gospel of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints is. I challenge you, to kneel down just as I do and pray to know if what you are reading about it true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith, by living my faith. I practice what I preach. Being LDS is not the easiest road to take, but as Elder Holland said, " Salvation was never easy." All things in my life that I appreciate most have come from hard work. School, work, my first car, and my mission. Every day I try to be a little bit better than I was the day before.
