Hi I'm Corey

I live in Kaysville, Utah (USA); I'm married to a wonderful lady, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I have grown up in Utah and have had the wonderful blessing of being raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I grew up in a wonderful family with parents who loved and cared for me. I had terrific friends who helped to guide, direct and encourage me to be better and work hard. I enjoy photography, fishing, hiking and cooking. I served a mission to France, and the French language continues to be a big part of my life. I love life and look forward to learning new things and enjoying new experiences.

Why I am a Mormon

I currently work for an automotive supply company, which has given me the opportunity to meet many wonderful people, visit many different places around the world and participate in the local cultures. These opportunities have helped me to gain a great appreciation for life and people. By visiting these different areas in the world I have come to realize that no matter where we live, there are challenges to overcome and struggles to work through. I have found that people are generally good and want similar things in life. A proper understanding of the purpose of life as taught by this church helps to keep these challenges in a proper perspective. I grew up knowing that I have a Heavenly Father, and my experience has shown me that He loves me, is aware of me, my thoughts, my concerns, and my desires. Knowing I have a Heavenly Father who loves me brings great peace and comfort. I know that my life is a gift, that my life has a plan and that my Heavenly Father watches over me. The best part about this understanding is that He not only cares for me, but he loves and cares for each and every person on the earth and we can come to know this individually. As I continue to study the Bible and its teachings, I find that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints holds answers and understanding to basic gospel questions. As we read about Jesus Christ’s resurrection we understand that this life is not the final chapter, that we each of us will be resurrected. I am a father of four beautiful children and I have been deeply blessed by accepting the sacred responsibility of providing for them both temporally and spiritually. I don’t want this relationship to end with this life. I understand that it doesn’t have to. There are now LDS temples throughout the world, wherein ordinances can be performed that allow my family to be sealed together forever. I truly look forward to this relationship continuing beyond the grave.

How I live my faith

I feel it is important that others have opportunity to enjoy the same peaceful feelings and blessings that I do so I watch for opportunities to invite others to come to share in this same knowledge and understanding. I do my best to be encouraging to and help others along their way as I try to live my life in the way I think Christ would. As time continues to evolve there seem to be more frequent reports of natural disasters and economic challenges. All of us are affected. Knowing I am a child of God allows me to not feel overwhelmed with all of these happenings. It is my hope that all mankind can know and enjoy these same feelings of peace and to move forward in life with faith knowing that ultimately God’s purposes will be fulfilled and that He will be with us to guide us and direct us in proper paths throughout this life.
