Hi I'm Zac

I am from Salem Utah, I am 19 years old, and currently serving a 2 year mission in Eugene Oregon. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up always loving the outdoors and working hard to see things accomplished. I played soccer for 15 years, and tried every sport as a kid, then wrestled my sophomore year in high school. Now I just love lifting weights and other active hobbies. I come from a fairly large family of 7, and I'm grateful to have all of them to help me learn how to make it through life! I'm very independant, and I like things done right the first time. I am pursuing an interest in owning my own business, especially selling and driving cars! I am on a full-time mission in Oregon right now, and have truly learned to love people from all different walks of life and personality. The most important thing I want to define me, is my love for the Savior and try to behave like he would!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, so I was raised with an understanding of what was expected, and leaned on my parents testimony. As I got older as a teenager, I began to see the need for my own testimony. I began to try studying the book of mormon on my own, and pray more often. I felt the warm feelings of the spirit whenever I did this, or learned something true like in seminary. Now I am on my mission because I received a very strong impression from the spirit that I was supposed to go. And now that I'm here, I know that this is where I'm supposed to be, and what I'm supposed to be doing.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by looking for opportunities to serve people every day! Whether it be moving furniture, pulling weeds, or simply a smile in passing. I read the scriptures (the Bible and Book of Mormon) every day so I can learn more of how Jesus Christ would want me to live. I have a unique opportunity to live my faith right now full time as a missionary. I spend all of my day trying to teach people what the scriptures say, how we can be kind to others, and to increase our faith in Jesus Christ so we can return to live with him. I hope that I am living my faith in such a way that it makes others want to follow Christ!

What is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' attitude regarding homosexuality and same sex marriage?

Homosexual relationships are against God's will because he wants us to have families and bring more of his spirit children into this life. Men and women each have unique roles in families, and in the gospel. I am grateful I was able to have the nurturing of my mother, and the example of my father. I learned how to respect women from my mother, and how to be a worthy priesthood holder and father from my dad. Show more Show less
