Hi I'm Madeline

I love to sing. I'm a budding linguist. I'm a missionary in Hungary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was just about to start a modern languages degree, but I've decided to serve a mission. I have been called to the Hungary, Budapest mission. I have always loved singing and playing musical instruments. I'm from a family of seven, who all sing together. I love watching/listening to comedy. I really enjoy speaking German with people.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a mormon, but I believe that I have received many promptings that this is God's church. I firstly gained a personal relationship with my Heavenly Father and could recognise his impact in my life. I can't explain but I just felt that he was listening. I have had personal experiences in which God has undeniably influenced my life or given me answers to prayer through spiritual promptings. More recently I had a strong spiritual confirmation that this is, in fact, a church sanctioned by God and that Joseph was, in fact, a prophet of God and that our current prophet has that same authority. I have a strong testimony of the positive influence this church has on people's lives and I would not wish a life without it - it is unimaginable to me. I cannot recommend it more highly. I believe that this religion has enriched my life and I am extremely grateful for it's overwhelming impact on me.

How I live my faith

I sometimes organise activities for the youth, but I am currently called as a missionary within the ward/community. I visit other sisters from the church community within the visiting teaching programme. Mostly, I live my faith on a daily personal basis, by studying the scriptures and praying to our Heavenly Father. I try to develop christ-like attributes in all areas of my life and through my interactions with others.
