Hi I'm Rdicenzo

I was born and raised in Brazil. My family lives in Hawaii. After 25 years, I'm going back to school. I'm a Mormon ,

About Me

I was born and raise in Brazil, but currently live in Hawaii, YES.... PARADISE! I have been married to the love of my life for 24 years and we have 3 children. Now that 2 of my children are in college and my youngest is in 9th grade, I decided to go back to school and get a degree in education. My husband and I ran a family business together and have gone through good and hard times together , emotionally, financially, and spiritually. Our commitment to the gospel has strengthen our family and kept us together.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the Mormon church a few months before I was born in 1966, so I was blessed to learn the gospel through out my life. My dad told me bedtime stories from the Bible and I always liked them more than the fairy tales. Church attendance was always a priority in our family, even when we were on vacation we would find a chapel to go and worship. During my Youth I attended seminary for four years. Each year we would study one book,The Old Test., The New Test., The Book of Mormon, and D&C ( History of the Church). It was then that I started to challenge myself to decide if I wanted to follow my parents footsteps or not. When I was 18 years Old I came to the United States for a College Education. I noticed that when I was casual about church and my spiritual routine, something was missing and my days were not complete. As soon as I paid more attention to it, things would change rapidly. I was far from being the perfect person, and I did have my share of mistakes but I would tried to make it right as I learned my lessons. When my husband and I started our family, we knew that we need to teach our children the Gospel, we wanted to make sure they were fed spiritually on a regular basis. As my children are growing I hope they will remember the things they learned at home. Heavenly Father loves us, he will always give us a second chance and help us if we are faithful.Being a MOM is my greatest accomplishment. I'm my a mom, a wife...I'm a Mormon

How I live my faith

Since I was born and raised as a mormon i have had many opportunities to serve in the church. Right now I work with the Young Women . We are planning our Girls Camp for next year and they are very excited! I'm also a Visiting Teacher... I and another Sister visit three other Sisters every month, bringing them a Gospel Message and provide any help they might need. It's a great way to make new friends. At home we try to be consistent in reading scriptures daily along with family prayer. We also meet as a family once a week for a "Family Home Evening" , when we talk about a subject of the Gospel and discuss any family planning or problems that needs to be addressed.

Does The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints endorse political parties?

Rdicenzo
I have to confess I'm not very political involved, but I tend to be more conservative in a few issues. I think we should consider not only the political parties but the integrity and moral standards of the candidates. Show more Show less
