Hi I'm Devin

I am a Native American of the Navajo Indian Tribe and I am a Mormon.

About Me

Above all things, I love to serve all people in anyway possible by giving of my time, my strength, and my talents. I really enjoy spending my time with children in playing, teaching, and learning with them. I also love animals, especially dogs. I have four purebred white German Shepherds who have taught me so much and who I love. I enjoy doing whatever catches my interests; especially when there are others to share those things with just to have a good time. I plan to go to college as soon as I am done serving the mission I am about to do so I can prepare for the rest of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have been raised in living the Gospel of Jesus Christ by the many examples that have been found within my life. In a way, I did raise myself by observing the world and taking the things that were good and applying them into my life. I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the one true Church of our Lord and King for I have come to know it is true through the many things that I have learned. I know the Book of Mormon is true for it is a record of my fathers and from this book, I have come to learn so many things about who I am and where I come from. I am a Lamanite - Native American - who has accepted the teachings of my Father and fathers who live forevermore. This is my heritage; the heritage of God our Father.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in all that I do to be a better example to all who may be watching; even myself. If I ever catch myself slipping, I am quick to correct my ways to enjoy the steady peace found in living my faith. Life is tough, but in those tough times is when we have the opportunity to come closer to God. We just need to not be afraid and endure life by keeping our head held high.
