Hi I'm Sarah McEntire

I grew up in Utah. I have the coolest family EVER. I love Ballroom Dancing, Music, Outdoors, and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I have so many hobbies that it's hard to write about just a few. I love dancing! My grandmas motto in life was, " I'd rather dance than eat if I was hungry!" ... and I couldn't agree more. I served my mission in Seattle Washington. I have four older brothers and one little sister, and it's always a ton of fun when we get together! That's basically me.. just a normal girl, who likes to have fun no matter the situation.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. But that doesn't necessarily mean that I have always had a strong testimony of this gospel. A testimony is something that we have to work at gaining, which is what I had to do. When I was in 9th grade, I was enrolled in Seminary where we were privileged to study the Book of Mormon that year. I remember believing that it was true, but I didn't KNOW it was true. My seminary teacher challenged us to begin to read the Book of Mormon every day, and then sincerely pray to know if it was true. This was something I had never really done before, but I truly did want to know if it was true. One night after I had read a couple of verses, I decided to kneel down and ask to know if it was true, and if it was true to please bless me with the ability to understand what the spirit was telling me. My answer wasn't quite immediate but as I was praying, I felt the love of God so powerfully that it overwhemled me. It felt like getting a hug from our Father in Heaven. I know that this is the true gospel. I love my Savior Jesus Christ! I know that as we read consistenly, and pray to know, and are willing to act upon whatever God tells us.. we can always recieve answers. Because he does in fact listen, to every word!

How I live my faith

I just try. Mother Teresa said, “God doesn't require us to succeed, he only requires that you try.” And that is honestly it... I am not perfect, but I believe that Heavenly Father put me here to do something, and so I'll do my best to figure that out. And if I mess up, I'll try again the next day.
