Hi I'm Lars Thorderson

I grew up in Mississippi. I love the ocean. I love adventure and I love rock music. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I really enjoy being outdoors. I can spend all day on the water in a boat wakeboarding or in the water surfing. I enjoy reading as well as listening to all types of music, but mostly rock music. I'm currently thinking about becoming a firefighter. I like to travel so much. I enjoy learning and being among other cultures. One of my favorite things about other cultures is the many different sports that influence their culture. I hope to be a world traveler when I'm older as well as learn to speak Italian. As for the places I've already been, I've been to Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Aruba, The Virgin Islands, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Argentina, Ecuador, The Galapagos Islands, Australia, England, France, Italy, Dubai, Tanzania, Kenya, and Brazil. I am currently serving in the Florida Fort Lauderdale Portuguese speaking mission also. I enjoy watching any sports but mostly soccer and hockey.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and plan to raise my kids in the church. I am a Mormon because I know that through this gospel we can live with our families for an eternity. Just knowing this gives me a desire to share it with you. I am a Mormon because you can see the blessings it brings in your life. I am a Mormon because it brings people together in the good times and the bad.

How I live my faith

I like to participate in my ward by asking others if they need help with anything around their home. I like to hometeach as well visit with the younger youth about their experiences in life. My favorite activity that is put together each year is a 4th of July breakfast our Ward does for our community. What a great experience!

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Lars Thorderson
Mormons live just like you and your neighbor. We have a family, a job, and have hobbies too. We also like to include scripture study, service, prayer, and church attendance in our every day routine. Show more Show less
