Hi I'm Briana

I'm shy. I just turned 16. I'm a convert. I love knowing I'm planting the seed for my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am going to be a Junior in high school this year. I am the oldest of three, I have a younger brother and sister. I love band! I play clarinet, baritone saxophone, and percussion. I want to go to college and be in the nursing field. I love my family and friends!

Why I am a Mormon

I have this friend that is Mormon, and Freshman year I started asking questions about why he was always going to church, and what a Mormon actually was. He began to tell me some things about his church, and I would compare them to my Nondenominational church. Ultimately, the LDS church sounded very interesting. He gave me the Book of Mormon, and I started to read it and I remember always feeling calm and peaceful when I read. Slowly, I started to stop my reading, thinking I didn't really have the time. But in truth, I did. Eventually, I began to pick up my reading. I just loved it! January of this year (2013), I started going to church with him and his family. I found that I really loved going to church with them, and I wanted to keep going. Soon, the missionaries started coming around...I was terrified of them at first. A couple months later, I was pulled over to the missionaries, and we told them that I wanted to start taking the discussions. That decision was one of the best choices in my life! The sister missionaries that taught me, were there for me every step of the way. I know they were sent to Indiana so that they could teach me the restored gospel. I will never forget the experience I had with them!! Two weeks ago, I was baptized in the church. My family was able to come and watch, and they could see the light glowing off of me, and they knew I was happy. Being the only member in my family is hard, but with the help of Heavenly Father, I know I can do it. My mom and sister have started to take the lessons as well, and for now they just want to know what I believe in. Hopefully, with the help of my testimony, they will be able to find the happiness that I have, and take part of it. I know that this church is true, and it does bring many blessings. We are all children of our Heavenly Father, and He loves each and everyone of us. I know that He wants us to follow His path, and He will be there to help guide us. If we need Him, He is just a prayer away!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by studying the scriptures, praying, and going to church. I am the only member in my family, so I can share my testimony of this true gospel with them, and help them find the happiness that I have!
