Hi I'm Jennifer

I am a registered nurse, I am a convert to the church, I love the beach, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Bedford, New Hampshire and I am currently living in Rexburg, Idaho. My husband is in nursing school at BYU-I. I am a registered nurse on a mom/baby unit at Madison Memorial Hospital- a small hospital in Rexburg. I love being a nurse. I also love reading. I currently started a book club with my relief society. I enjoy going to the beach and hiking with my husband. We love to do a lot of outdoor stuff such as: camping, biking, kayaking, etc. We also like to go to the gym together. I have a bachelors degree in nursing and I received my degree at Rivier University in Nashua, NH. I love to hang out with my friends and I love spending quality time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. I have found a faith that completes me. The Mormon faith does not judge you or make you feel bad about past mistakes. It accepts you for who you are and strives to make you a better person. I chose to get baptized because I knew it would be best for me and my future family. I also became a Mormon because of my love for my Savior, Jesus Christ. I was baptized when I was 21 years old. It was the hardest decision I have had to make thus far. I am the only member in my family and I sacrificed many things to be where I am today. Jesus Christ helped me in my repentance process and helped me become the person I wanted to become. Lastly, I am a Mormon because it was the right thing to do.

How I live my faith

I try my very best to live my faith each and every day. My husband is really good about reminding me to pray or read my scriptures. I wish I was better at doing those things all the time, but we are not perfect beings. In my last ward, I was a primary teacher, ward missionary and singles ward rep. My favorite calling was primary teacher, in which I was scared to start. In my new ward, with my husband, we are ward missionaries together. I enjoy sharing my religion with others. I am a convert to the church and I have only been a member for 18 months. I go to church every Sunday, pray everyday, and attempt to stay on top of reading my scriptures. I share my faith whenever I can and I strive to become a better person everyday.
