Hi I'm Natasha

I am a Mormon. I grew up in South Africa. I LOVE chocolate and sweets!

About Me

I love playing the piano and doing adventurous things with my family. I love the outdoors and I absolutely love shopping with my mom. I am currently serving a mission where I can share my beliefs and my testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am serving in England and the weather is not what I am used to since it's always sunny in South Africa. I worked for my parents before I came on mission and I am going to study Business Economics when I return home. I hope to have a big family and travel the world one day.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the church just after they got married so I kind of grew up believing on what they said was true. Until I turned 16. I wanted to know for myself whether this was what I wanted to do and what I wanted to believe. I wanted to know for myself if it was the truth. I prayed about it and I knew that this gospel was true. I knew that what my parents have told me was the truth and it has changed me and my family's life forever. I know that God lives and that He loves each and everyone of us dearly. His Son, Jesus Christ suffered and died for our sins. He knows our thoughts and feelings and if there is ever someone who will understand what you might be going through, it is our Saviour. I love Him and I love this gospel. It helps me everyday. The Book of Mormon is such a great book and has so many teachings in it to improve our lives. I would encourage anyone to read it, because it is true. I am serving a mission to share this great treasure with those who don't know about it. I know that it can change someone else's life just the way it did mine.

How I live my faith

I volunteered as a Young Women's Adviser for the Church's Youth Program. I helped all the young girls in my group to grow closer to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and encouraged them to always remember what they're worth. It was great. It also involved teaching them about certain principles we believe in such as faith and virtue and how they could be a good example to their friends. I also played the piano for our local congregation since I was 8 years old until I came on my mission. It was so much fun.
