Hi I'm Dan

I am born and raised in Hawai'i on the Big Island. I played volleyball my whole life and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've played volleyball my entire life. I have three older sisters and no brothers, therefore I am the youngest and only boy in my family. I will be the first person going on a mission from my family. I attended one year at a university, it was such a great experience. I did play volleyball collegiately. I can easily entertained and I can be really easy to talk to.

Why I am a Mormon

I was "born in the Covenant," which means when I was a born I was already labeled as a Mormon. I still continue to follow His gospel, because I have experienced so many great things in my life. When I was 16, my fraternal grandfather had passed away. I was greatly saddened by this because I was very close to him. But, I knew that by what I was taught in church is, I will see him again because we were sealed as a family. So, this has made me so much more grateful to be a Mormon. I was able to understand what happens after our life here on earth. It is such a blessing what this religion has done for myself and my family.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through the power of prayer. I have taught youths once so far it is such a nervous feeling but it felt liberating after I finished the lesson. I have recently been called to be a Ward Missionary because I am going on a mission very soon. I haven't gone out with the missionaries yet but I was able to attend meetings and it was such a great place to be because we were there on the same page and we knew what had to be done. Like I said before the power of prayer is very strong. It has strengthen my testimony and I know it can do the same for you as well.
