Hi I'm Lois

I'm a Mormon, I love being with my family. I also enjoy quilting and helping my garden grow.

About Me

I'm a Grandma and I love it. I grew up working on our family farm. I now care for a large yard with flowers, vegetable garden and fruit trees. I love growing thing for my children and now my grandchildren to eat. I learned to sew from my Mother - but my Husbands Mother introduced me to quilting and I love that now.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents and grandparents were members of the Church and that is how I was introduced to the Gospel. But I have worked to develop my own testimony. I know that the Saviors Gospel, the commandments and principles of truth will bring joy to the lives of those who will be obedient to those commandments. I know that my Savior loves me, and I love Him. I know that I am a child of God. That is so different than only being His creation. I tree is a creation, and very cool - I am, we are His children. He wants everything for us. He has a plan to help us return to Him clean though the atonement. I am so grateful.

How I live my faith

I like to be involved in helping others around me. I have served in PTA while my children were in elementary school. Now that they are grown I am helping people with the plants in their yard through the Master Gardener Program. I have served in many callings in the Church. I have worked with children in Sunday Programs as well as weekday cub scouts. I spent six years teaching High School age youth about the scriptures. Now I work with the women in our church. We try to provide opportunities for them to learn things that will bless their lives, and their families. I try to see what my neighbors and others around me need and try to help them find joy in their lives.
