Hi I'm Eric

I'm a husband with six daughters. I grew up in the US, lived in Japan and travel the world as an HR exec. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a family man - am blessed with a wonderful wife and six lovely daughters. When I am not at work, I love to be home spending time with my gals. We love to watch fun movies, go on road trips, and enjoy good food together. I love music, learning new languages, watching/playing sports, mountain biking, being an amateur astronomer, and studying history. Variety is indeed the spice of life, and I tend to follow various interests with the seasons. I also love to help people - nothing like helping others to make one grateful for their own blessings.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon - a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints - because I feel great peace in the gospel of Jesus Christ - I always have. I know that God has a plan for all of us, and the gospel of Jesus Christ outlines that plan so simply and beautifully. This gospel has brought great blessings into my life since I was very young. Regardless of the ups and downs of life, which I've had many, the gospel has always been a grounding force for me. It keeps me focused on why I am here, what are my true priorities, and the amazing blessings I can enjoy now and forever as I live what I know to be true. I have a strong witness about the truth of the gospel. This witness is what I call a testimony; I have gained this testimony through many years of prayer and study, and through the trials I have experienced which have brought me closer to God. The Holy Ghost – a witness for the God’s truth – has born witness of these truths deep into my soul.

How I live my faith

I try to let my deeds speak for me in various facets of my life. I am a big believer that you walk your talk, and hope that people will see my faith and values live through my actions. I get tremendous enjoyment in trying to help others improve their lives, or helping improve our community. Whether I am fulfilling a calling at church, coaching others at work as they pursue their career dreams, volunteering in the community, or advising various educational institutions on how to improve their programs, I love seeking to bring about progress and good in the lives of others, because I know that my Father in Heaven is interested in the good of all.
