Hi I'm Daria

I am a sister, a friend, a wife and a daughter. I love to serve and do all I can to make others happy, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Southern California then moved to Arizona and now my family in located in Utah. I have been ice skating since I was 7 and continue to do it for fun. I grew up in a household that loves watching sports. Any kind you name it! I am one of the only active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in my immediate family. I enjoy traveling and learning about the world and other cultures. I love listening to music and helping others. I am studying Family and Child Development at Southern Virginia University. I have loved learning and growing not only in my secular college experience but through my reactivation into the church. I have turned my life around because I know what I can be and what I can have. I am an ordinary person with divine potential and I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this gospel, and was baptized at the age of 8. My parents got divorced when I was 5 and when back and forth until I was 12. During that time I struggled with staying active in the church. When I moved to Mesa, Arizona I quickly became friends with many people who shared my values and saw the importance of living those values. I started going to church with a friend and became reactivated. After graduating from High school I went to a small university in Virginia, that was modeled after the values of the church. Over the past few years I have learned so much about the gospel, about the world and about myself and my abilities. I have learned about where I came from and where I am going. I have seen throughout my life the importance to living the values this gospel teaches. I know that Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ both love me and have a plan for me. I know that they want me to be happy and I know without a doubt from past experiences I have been strengthened because of this knowledge.

How I live my faith

I love to serve and I have had many opportunities as a member of The Church of Latter-day Saint. I have had opportunities to teacher and learn, which I loved. I was also a member of Institute council where I helped create fun activities for young single adults in my area to invite them to learn more about Jesus Christ and his gospel. And also am a missionary to my friends and my inactive family. I try every day to become better and better. I try to show my faith and my beliefs through my actions. I believe that through how I treat other children of God, that will be the best way to share my testimony of the love my Savior and Heavenly Father have for me
