Hi I'm Braden

I've lived in Utah almost my whole life. My background is mixed, so i come from many different traditions. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love all sports, and reading. I love learning, and do it best on my own. I recently returned from Korea, where i lived for two years while i taught about my church. I work at a japanese/korean restaurant, where i continue to work on my language skills

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in this gospel, but understood from a young age that i couldn't take my parents' or teachers' word for the truth of the gospel, and knew i would need to find out for myself. I'm still learning, and continuing to build knowledge, but one thing I feel i know perfectly is God's love, and my Savior's love, for me. I feel it as i pray, study the scriptures, learn of His life, and especially as i share that with others. I chose to follow Him, and continue to do so, because i've seen the blessings in my life from my Heavenly Father. Christ said "If any man will do [the Father's] will, he will know of the doctrine". To me this means that, even if we don't understand at first, we should use faith, and do what God says, and he will show us, through blessings or by other means, that that word, what He said, is true.

How I live my faith

I teach once a month at church to all the men roughly between the ages of 18 and 35, and i enjoy it. my favorite part of our church organization is that everyone is involved. and individuals arent chosen on merit, intelligence, or superiority, but we all learn together. i learn 10x what i teach, each time i study for a lesson.
