Hi I'm Logan

Hi, I grew up in Albuquerque New Mexico, and I am currently serving a mission in the Montana Billings Mission!

About Me

I have grown up in the church my whole life and I have always wanted to serve a mission. I plan on attending BYU Idaho when I get back, and I hope that I will continue to learn and grow in the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the church is true. Being part of the church is something else. You are always loved there, and there are always people to support you. Being around so many role models encourages me to do my best. I am so grateful for this church, and everything it has blessed me with in life. When I finally decided to serve a mission, my faith was solidified, and that is what motivated me to stay active in the church, and make further promises with our Father in Heaven to be faithful throughout my life. Only in the true church of Jesus Christ can we hope to have peace in this life and eternal joy in the life to come.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be an example. I love people, and I hope they love me back. I try hard to stay worthy and do what I know is right, and by doing this, hopefully I am leading others to choose the right.

What is faith?

Logan
Faith is a strong belief that motivates a person to act. Faith that leads to forgiveness of sins is centered in Jesus Christ, whose Atonement makes forgiveness possible. Faith in Jesus Christ is more than a passive belief in Him. It means believing that He is the Son of God and that He suffered for your sins, afflictions, and infirmities. It means acting on that belief. Faith in Jesus Christ leads you to love Him, trust Him, and obey His commandments. If we feel like we can claim to have faith, then continue to sin or live poor lives, we do not have faith in Jesus Christ. We must be willing to do something about it. James said, "Faith without works is dead." And I stand by his statement. Our faith is continually changing, either going up or down, so to speak. If we are not building it up, then it is decreasing. I know that Jesus Christ is our savior. I know he lives and loves us all. And I show my faith by living the gospel he taught. Show more Show less
