Hi I'm Dallas

Born and raised in Layton Utah. Leaving for a full time mission in Trujillo Peru. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play all sports. Throughout high school I participated on my golf and basketball teams. I also love sketching, particularly I enjoy doing faces. My parents were divorced when I was five years old so I've always had a lot of family names to remember! It has been a blessing to have so much family around me to support me. When I return from my mission I am thinking about going to a small college to complete my generals. Later I hope to get my MBA at a large University and go on to owning my own business.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose this Church because it is perfect! As mormons we preach the importance of having a good strong family which should be at the top of everybody's priorities and it is at mine. We preach a Gospel of love, but not only for our fellow man, but a love of God and his son Jesus Christ. Having the atonement in my life has brought blessings that are beyond what I thought possible. This church is so true and has brought so much joy to my life. I know that God lives, and he sent his son Jesus Christ to this earth so that we could return to him. What a blessing that truly is. This Gospel was restored through a true prophet of the Lord and it is the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon is the word of God and can lead us home to our father in heaven. I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to share this beautiful and everlasting message with the people of Peru!!!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best to serve others. I spent my last few months as a teacher for the nine and ten year olds. Preparing for my mission and it was such a great experience. As I prepare to serve my mission, I just try my best to be kind. I feel like that is the most important thing we can do. The main way I feel I am living my faith is giving up to years to preach this Gospel that I so fully believe in.
