Hi I'm Ashten

I am becoming a special ed teacher. I love kids, my life is always better with a smile. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a student, and l love learning (most of the time). I am recently married and I have really enjoyed trying to be a wife. My cooking skills are limited but my husband doesn't complain. I feel like a typical young adult but I have found flavor and purpose to my life through interactions with others. Everyone has a story and life feels complete when you focus on being a bright spot in the chapter or chapters you're apart of. Spreading happiness has become one of my greatest goals. I love working with my students with special needs and I have found if you can let yourself go and have fun with them everyone has a better day. Life is meant to be learned from and enjoyed. I am a wife a daughter, a granddaughter, a sister, a friend and a teacher.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I love to be happy, and doing what God wants is what makes me happy. He is the creator of all happiness and He loves to share if we do what He asks us. I have asked Him if being a mormon is correct and true and I have received resounding answers of peace and comfort saying yes!

How I live my faith

I have discovered that a check list of doing "righteous" things is not living a faith. I try to live my faith by becoming and applying the things that I continually try to learn about Jesus Christ and His path. I fall short so many times but it makes me grateful to know that I can lean on someone to save me from my short comings. I often try to think of the what the moment will be like when I see Jesus Christ again and wonder... Would He be proud of me right now. I try to live a life where I can look Him in the eye and know that I am clean.
