Hi I'm Maralee

Hi. I have been a Mormon my entire life, and I truly wish that everyone could have the joy and happiness I have.

About Me

I am married with five children, four boys and one girl. I graduated from college with a B.S. in education. I taught school until we started our family. I loved teaching, but I loved teaching my children more. I have loved being home with our children.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but I have had to gain my own testimony of its truthfulness. When I was 11 years old my brother was hit by a car and killed. This was the turning point for me. I had always believed in the church, but when I felt his loss I knew I had to know that my brother would be waiting for me when I died. I did receive an answer, and I know without any doubt that the church is the living church of Jesus Christ. He has placed it back on Earth to help us all return and be with Him, with our families and all those we love, especially Him. He wants us all to be with Him.

How I live my faith

My religion is my life. Everything I do seems to be tied in with it, from how I live personally, to how I interact with my family and others. I love people. I love visiting with others. There is so much to learn from them. I love to volunteer in our community. I have been on the city government and read to little ones in the library. Our family does community clean ups and all sorts of things. I enjoy going to the senior care centers and visiting with the people there. In our church I love teaching the children, they are so fun. I have also taught the adults but kids are more fun :-).

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Maralee
We believe that it is by the grace of our Heavenly Father that we are saved but only after we do all we can. We must work at having faith in Christ and repenting of our sins. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

Maralee
We believe that the Holy Ghost is the third member of the Godhead. That the Holy Ghost does not have a body of flesh and bones as our Heavenly Father and Jesus do. The Holy Ghost is here to help testify of our Heavenly Father and Jesus. The Holy Ghost is to reveal the truth, give us divine guidance, and comfort us when we need. Show more Show less
