Hi I'm Wyatt

I enjoy running, mountain biking, fly fishing and the outdoors in general. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to run and be active in general and in high school I was on the cross country and track teams. I also the outdoors and some of my favorite activities in the outdoors are hiking, fly fishing, mountain biking, hunting, and snowmobiling. Now that I am graduated from high school I will be serving a mission in October. After my mission I plan on attending college, but I haven't decided exactly what I want to go into. Maybe chemical or electrical engineering, but I will figure that out at a later date. I have two dogs and both are miniature schnauzers. One of them is named Jasper and the other is Gus. I only have one other sibling which is my sister and she is thirteen. I am also an eagle scout.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have come to know for myself that this gospel is true. I grew up in the church and have always loved it. One of the greatest things I love about this gospel is that it gives me a sense of direction for my life. I have something to work towards and that is living with my Heavenly Father again. I make mistakes and I am not perfect, but I continually try to work towards that goal. It is such a blessing in my life to know that I can be forgiven of the mistakes that I have made through the Atonement. I have a strong testimony of the Atonement and my Savior. I know that he suffered for me and he knows me personally. It is a comforting thought to know that my Savior is always there for me and is there to help me whenever I need him. I have a testimony of the restoration. I know that Joseph Smith saw God and Jesus Christ and with God's help he was able to translate the Book of Mormon. I know the Book of Mormon is true and that although it was written long ago it is applicable in my life today. I love its teachings and I try to read it every morning and night. I have a testimony of our prophet today, Thomas S. Monson. I know that he talks with God and that the advise he gives us comes form Heavenly Father. I love this church and its teachings and I want to teach others of this gospel and its teachings and I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

Right now I am a ward missionary. What we do is we go out and visit people in my ward that are may be struggling, or are not active in the church. We also help the full time missionaries find new people to teach or help them with the people they are already teaching. I enjoy this calling because it is helping me prepare for my full time mission. Along with being a ward missionary I go home teaching with my father and visit three families. When we go we see how they are doing and if they need help with anything. Then we give a short lesson. We try to visit each family every month. I also live my faith by serving in my community. While I was in high school I was part of the National Honor Society which is a service based group. I also do a lot of service for the community through the Boy Scouts of America. I enjoy servicing and helping others.
