Hi I'm Dylan-Sage

I grew up in Hawaii - born and raised. A missionary (soon to serve) in the Philippines. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Hawaii. I went to Kamehameha Schools on Oahu as a boarder. I am currently a BYU-Hawaii undergraduate majoring in English, minoring in ICS-Communications and pursuing a certificate in New Media Journalism.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know, deeply and holistically, that this Church is true. I am the only active member in my family. My faith has always been powered by my great-grandmother and those who are actively engaged in my life. Mormonism, for me, is logical. The Plan of Salvation is also a large part in why I am a Mormon. Being a Hawaiian, the importance of knowing where I am from, who I am, and where am I going was embedded in my DNA. Having known that everyone on this earth once lived with God and our opportunity to return to live with him through the choices we make while here on earth is a remarkable thing.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being active in the Church. I haven't held many church callings, but I have assisted in many capacities. I was taught to always pray. From prayer began scripture reading. From scripture study began seminary. And seminary to BYU-Hawaii. My testimony has been and will continue to progress.
