Hi I'm Jenn

I am a hair and beauty stylist, fashion lover, wife of a law student, and mama of two. I live in Wyoming. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to laugh and joke around. I was able to marry someone who likes to make me laugh. My husband is in law school and we have been married since 2008. We have two kids, a fun little girl named Florabelle and a crazy baby boy, Augustus. I am a hairdresser and I am passionate about what I do. I also have a beauty blog. I love to dance and be with my family. I also love movies, pizza, anything Tiffany blue, coca-cola, swimming, Tina Fey, and crafts. The women in my life who inspire me are my mom and my mother-in-law. I have been blessed to be surrounded by many strong and talented women in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate to be born to parents who were Mormon. They raised me to go to church and make good decisions but I feel that I have come to know my Savior Jesus Christ for myself. I remember when I turned eight, which is the age you are baptized to become a member of the Church, my dad got laid off from his job and I could tell my mom and dad were worried. I decided to pray privately to my Heavenly Father and I remember knowing that He would answer my prayers, that He had a plan, and that I would still be able to be baptized and become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Since then, I have overcome many trials and struggles; I know it would not be possible without the Atonement and the Savior's love for me. I believe that I will be with Heavenly Father and the Savior again as well as loved ones that have left this earth. I believe in the Bible and I also believe in the Book of Mormon. I believe Joseph Smith spoke to God and was told to translate ancient scripture that became the Book of Mormon. I believe we have a modern day prophet, Thomas S. Monson, who leads and guides us through inspiration of God. I am not perfect but I know that if I strive to live a good life that someday I will be made perfect through Jesus Christ. Even though I was born in the church, I feel I have much to learn but I do know that everything the Church teaches is true.

How I live my faith

Every day I try to be a good example of charity, faith, and integrity by making good decisions and helping others. I strive to be a good mom and wife. I have come to realize that I set the tone for my home and the task of being a good mom and wife are not as easy as I once thought! Every Sunday I go to church where I get to take a break from the cares of the world. For many years, I have enjoyed teaching the children in the church. I love teaching children because they are so pure, humble, and teachable. It's so easy for them to understand who God and Jesus Christ are and that they are loved by Them.
