Hi I'm Camilla Moraes

I'm from Brazil. I'm Mormon, and I love it!

About Me

I am Brazilian and I love my country. I went athlete of the gymnastics. I like to ride a longboard, watching movies, going to the beach, waterfalls, trails and stuff. I love listen to musics. I returned in December 2013 of the Brazil Salvador Mission, where I served as a full-time missionary. Swimming, running, biking, playing volleyball and any kind of sport or things related to nature are my "hobbies" favorites.

Why I am a Mormon

Be Mormon is something that has changed and continues to change my life daily. The choices I make, the blessings I receive, all things which govern my life and make me want to be better every day is Thanksgiving things I have learned and learn from the holy scriptures, with inspirational leaders and called by God. We have a living prophet who speaks face to face with the Savior, he tells us what Christ requires of us. The teachings are true. Are what I value the most in my life. Give me perspective, hope and motivation. It is the true church and I know because I prayed and God answered me. Live the teachings is what makes me happy and nothing in the world would I deny them, and live them daily only confirms me these realness.

How I live my faith

I serve the church as a teacher of a class of teens aged 14 to 17 years. Be with the youngers and participate of the learning them is a honor for me. Also participate in a project organization consisting of women visiting other women who need help, whether physical, emotional or spiritual, for we are all sisters, daughters of the same Father and we call ourselves. I know that when I help in the work of the Lord and serve the children of the Lord is as if I am serving God or Jesus Christ, and it blesses and brings happiness to my life.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Camilla Moraes
In the scriptures we find stories and accounts of physical and divine of our Heavenly Father. We pray for confirmations of what we read, but without a doubt, the best way to know Him is through keeping the commandments that He taught us as we draw close to Him and then we get a witness that He lives, He loves us and is blessing us in every moment.
