Hi I'm Stephanie Woolf

I've grown up in Texas. I served a mission in the Dominican Republic. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Dallas, Texas. I have lived here almost all of my life and I love it. I have three sisters and one brother. I am a student at Brigham Young University-Idaho and am majoring in Elementary Education. Working with children has always been one of my favorite things to do, so this major is perfect for me. In my free time I love to read, watch movies, and play games. I grew up as a Mormon and have found complete happiness through living the gospel. I served a full time mission in the Dominican Republic Santiago Mission for eighteen months.

Why I am a Mormon

There are so many reasons I am a Mormon. I grew up in the church, with faithful parents who taught me the principles and doctrines of the gospel of Christ. I came to know for myself through sincere pondering and prayer that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true church on the earth and was restored through the prophet Joseph Smith in this last dispensation of time. Joseph Smith also translated a book of scripture with writings from the ancient Americas called the Book of Mormon, which is inspired words from God, like the Bible, to testify of Christ. I know that Jesus Christ gave us the ultimate gift of atoning for our sins so that we may become clean and one day enter the presence of God. He has made it possible for us to live with our families for eternity if we will obey God's commandments and repent of our sins. It is through both our works on this earth and the mercy of a loving Heavenly Father that makes eternal life possible. I absolutely know with no question in my mind that God has given us a prophet in this day. Our prophet, Thomas S. Monson, has all of the keys and authority from God to direct this church and recieve revelation on our part. God loves us. He knows us. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints brings me so much happiness and I know that it is true.

How I live my faith

One of the most important ways that I live my faith is by reading the scriptures and praying each day. It helps me to stay close to my Heavenly Father, and teaches me how to become a better person. I also strive to serve others around me because bringing others happiness brings happiness to me as well. I have had several opportunities in church through the years to serve, including teaching the youth, doing family history work, planning activities, and visiting and serving others. I grow into a more faithful daughter of God through living by His commandments each day. The biggest way that I could live my faith was by going on a mission. I had the chance to share all of the truths that I know to the people in the Dominican Republic, and brought others unto Christ as I have done.
