Hi I'm Jarom

I'm a swimmer. I love economics. Im serving a mission in Japan Fukuoka. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lived in quite a few places. As a child my dad took many job opportunities which relocated us frequently. I have had the chance to meet people in many different circumstances and the different cultures they brought. We finally settled down in Indiana and I picked up swimming as a sport. I Practiced for many hours and it has become something that I love. I am currently studying Economics in college and it is also something else that I find joy in. Right now I am serving a mission in the Japan Fukuoka mission and I love every minute of it!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church so as a child I never really second guessed it. But as an adolescent, I really reached and searched for a loving heavenly father to be able to understand if this was the right church for me. After diligent praying and pondering, I felt an amazing peace and understanding. From that moment on I knew that being mormon was the right thing for me to do.

How I live my faith

As I started High School, I had to choose between swimming in the mornings or early morning Scripture study (seminary). I had a hard time choosing between the two of them. When it finally came time to decide, I picked seminary because I knew my Heavenly Father would bless me for the sacrifices I made. It turns out that by doing that, I was blessed immensely and was able to compete for my team. This act of faith opened many doors of opportunity for me to experience. Through this I was able to serve in many church positions, Including seminary president.
