Hi I'm Daniel Broadhead

I'm a runner, I'm from Georgia, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Currently I am a missionary for the Church. I find joy in bettering myself as a person and as a representative of Christ. At home I was a runner and love competing with others and always striving to one-up myself.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church. Growing up, that was the church we attended. I never really had much of a testimony of the truthfulness of the church but kind of just hung onto my parents coattails. When I graduated high school I came to a point when I had to decide if a mission was something I wanted to do. My whole life I looked forward to running in college. I was given the opportunity to run on scholarship. A mission seemed to disrupt that plan of going and fulfilling my childhood dream. So I decided to pray for guidance. I didn't know what to do. About that time the Church came out with a world wide statement for missionaries. The minimum age for male missionaries then was 19. I thought I had time to decide. This statement lowered that age to 18. I took this as my answer and began to study the gospel. I committed myself to read the entirety of the Book of Mormon. Through putting all things to the test by reading the Book of Mormon and praying I came to the knowledge that this church was unique. So I decided, if the Book of Mormon was scripture then Joseph Smith was the Prophet of the Restoration of the full Gospel of Christ and if that is so then this is the only true Church on earth today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others. Being a missionary we focus on Christlike attributes such as the true love of Christ (Charity). I truly try every day to live the things missionaries teach. Every aspect of the Gospel is given to us to help us be better than we were yesterday.
