Hi I'm Kyle

I am an artist, designer, music composer, and writer. I am a thinker and a learner. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy doing all kinds of creative things. I love to draw, design, illustrate, make music, and write short stories and poems. I teach myself how to do a lot of things. I like to try new things and learn. I love to think and experiment. I am a minimalist. I like to be neat and organized and fashionable. I enjoy listening to music, reading stories, watching movies, hiking, and adventuring. Dreams and imagination are fascinating. I like to see others' creativity and learn about people and cultures. I am a pretty mellow person, and I am kind of reserved. I am an introvert and an observer. I am thankful for my great family and my many blessings.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for all of us that allows us to obtain true joy in this life and exaltation in eternity through our obedience and through the desires of our hearts. Living the gospel of Jesus Christ has brought me peace and happiness and many other blessings.

How I live my faith

I try to love everyone and continuously choose the right. I am serving a mission in the Colorado Colorado Springs Mission.

What is faith?

Faith is confidence. Faith is trust. Faith is greater than hope; faith is trusting that something is, was, and/or will be. Faith inspires action, change, or being different. Show more Show less

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

Many ancient prophets in the Americas wrote the books that became the Book of Mormon. They were inspired by God, and they wrote many things which would help people to grow closer to God and to gain stronger testimonies of Christ and his atonement. The prophets Mormon and Moroni condensed and combined the most important records with inspiration from God, added words of their own, and made them into one book: the Book of Mormon. What is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' attitude regarding homosexuality and same sex marriage?

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints does not support or permit homosexuality and same sex marriage. We believe that marriage is sacred and may be eternal, and marriage between a man and a woman is ordained of God. The Church does not condemn the people who struggle with these inclinations, but lovingly encourages them, strengthens them, and does its best to help them overcome these difficult feelings. What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

The Holy Ghost, also called the spirit or comforter, is a personage of spirit with a special mission to testify to us of Heavenly Father and Jesus the Christ, to comfort and direct us, to reveal spiritual truths to us, and to cleanse and sanctify us. The spirit can dwell within us and give us thoughts and feelings to help guide us, answer our questions, and help us know the truth of the gospel. The Holy Ghost speaks with a "still, small voice" which can be hard to notice or discern from our own thoughts and ideas; however, we can recognize the voice of the Spirit as it prompts us to do good and gives us feelings of peace and joy, however subtle. How can I know Mormonism is true?

You can know it is true by studying and pondering the Church and its teaching, exercising faith by being obedient to the commandments of God, and by praying to our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ and asking with a sincere desire, real intent, and faith in Christ if it is true. If you do that, the Holy Ghost will reveal unto you the truth through feelings and thoughts of peace and comfort, happiness, or affirmation. Show more Show less
