Hi I'm Kamron

I grew up in Moab Utah. I was Salutatorian of my class. I'm a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints and have lived in it all of my life. I'm from a large Mormon family and I like to play all kinds of sports. Really I'll do just about anything that's fun and involves other people. I like to swim a lot, probably because I grew up in the desert, so I'm attracted to any kind of body of water. I also like camping, hiking, rafting, and just generally being outdoors. I am planning on going to college as soon as I'm done with my mission. I just graduated at the top of my class and was named salutatorian. I'm an Eagle Scout and I've always loved doing things that involve scouting. Right now I'm just preparing to go on a mission and I'm kind of working on and off to save money for college, my first priority is, however, getting ready to go on a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I was born into this church. Even if I hadn't been born a Mormon I know that I'd want to be one. We are always so very happy and family oriented. We focus so much on family and it is quite amiable to the rest of the world. Everyone that knows us can see that we have high standards, I've always pushed myself to be the best that I can be all of the time. I would want to be a Mormon because we push ourselves to a whole new level and we're always trying to be more like Christ. I'm a Mormon because I love my family and I want to be with them for eternity and this is the only true church that has the saving ordinances that I desire to live with my Heavenly Father and my family again. I know that this is the true church, I've prayed about it and I've received my answer, it is the true church of Jesus Christ restored upon this earth again by the prophet Joseph Smith. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that this church is the church that Christ had when he was on the earth, all of the keys and ordinances have been restored and we have a living prophet today that leads and guides us. We are different from any other church because we are the only ones with all of the truths, I am a Mormon because I want nothing short of the full truth. I am a Mormon because I believe in family and I know that this is the true church divinely instituted by God in these latter days.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day, in the way that I talk to people and the way that I exercise and stay healthy. I don't think that there's any part of my life that I don't relate back to my faith. If I didn't have my faith I would never be as happy as I am all of the time, therefore I wouldn't have as many friends as I do. I participate in as many activities as I possibly can because I love to learn about new things and interact with more people. My faith has given me a love for others that can't be found anywhere else, it's the love that Christ would have for his children. Also I lived my faith while I was at high school. I always tried to be considerate of other people's feelings and make new friends. This helped me to become a leader among my friends, including the ones that I hung out with on the sports teams. Often times environments can be difficult to tolerate if you're playing on a sports team with a lot of hormone-filled teenage guys trying to show how tough they are. But my faith helped me to remember my standards, and the guys on the team respected my integrity and often came to me for advice with problems in their lives. Nobody is devoid of problems, and everybody needs help at on point in their life. My faith has helped me to be there for people when they had no one else to turn to. It's helped me make friends and become the kind of person Christ would want me to be, as he is. That is how I live my faith and how my faith changes others around me.
