Hi I'm Emma

I'm blind in one eye. I also love to read like none other, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love to read and even write a little. I'm really enjoying high school, with all of it's ups and downs. I also enjoy playing the piano, singing, playing the flute, and riding my bike. Music is very important to me, and I'm grateful for my god-given talents in these areas. I also enjoy writing in my journal and watching my four younger siblings.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church, and the church has grown up in me. I am a firm believer in this church and the gospel. I have had so many times in my life when the church has given me strength in an otherwise impossible situation. I love this gospel and I don't ever want that to change.

How I live my faith

I am a great believer in teaching by example. I always strive to live the commandments and the prophet's teachings. I love being in the youth program of the church. I learn so much from my leaders and friends, and try to share what I learn with others.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Mormons believe that the family is a sacred unit, ordained of god. Marriage between a man and a woman is one of the most sacred ordinances performed in our temples. Part of the ordinance of marriage, or 'sealing' is the act of binding the husband and wife together for the eternities, along with their children. This power allows families to be together forever, through His sacred priesthood. Show more Show less
