Hi I'm Braxton

I am from Alpine, Utah. I am LDS and I love to play baseball as well as ride my dirt bike.

About Me

I live in Utah and have lived in Utah my entire life. I am 18 years old and I have a mission call to serve in Lubbock, Texas. I have six people in my family and I am the oldest child. I have always loved sports especially baseball. I played for my high school as a catcher and it is one of my favorite things to do. Another great hobby of mine is to ride dirt bikes! I have ridden since I was 3 years old and this is our family's favorite activity to do together. After my mission, I plan to attend BYU where I have been accepted. Basically, that's me.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? The answer is simple. I love the happiness and fullness this gospel brings that cannot be found in any other church on the face of this planet. This is the true church of God and I KNOW that to be true. I have read the Book of Mormon all the way through and have sincerely asked of God if it is a true book. His witness has testified to me of its truth immediately after I asked this of Him. A time that I felt of God's love for me and I found out of the true power of His holy Priesthood Power is when my grandmother was in a serious ATV accident. She had serious brain trauma and was not expected to live. My dad gave her a Priesthood blessing, which he gave to her worthily, and this blessing is what not only saved her life, but gave her a full recovery. She has since been sealed to my grandfather in the temple and the rest of her family for time and all eternity. This is a special witness from God to me that there is a special reason He allowed my grandmother to live that day. My dad was a worthy Priesthood holder and through that power, he blessed her that she might recover. And she did. I know this gospel to be true and I am so grateful for all of its blessings. I say these things, in the name of Thy son, Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I have served as a president or councilor/assistant of my church quorums several times in each quorum that I have been a part of thus far. I am a home teacher in my ward with my father as my companion. I teach quorum lessons frequently and I have found that I learn more than anybody else when I teach. I have found that the best way to bring somebody unto Christ is to lead by example. By others examples, I have learned the importance of leadership and what needs to be done in order to live a happy life. By being a righteous leader, this not only will bring us true happiness but it will bring those who follow us happiness as well.
