Hi I'm Sarah

I'm the yearbook editor in my huge school and dedicate lots of time to helping my school and community. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My family spend 3 years living in Maryland, which was an amazing experience for me and my family. Me and my sister became extremely close through the time we spend there and have became best friends. I love to hike and bike with my friends and family!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been Mormon all my life, and i have been blessed to have a family who is strong in the LDS church. With this amazing family, I was able to live with the assumption that even though I was unaware that it was all complete truth, I figured it was the best way to live. I was 12 when I really came to the knowledge that the church was true and that I knew there was no possible way that I could ever live differently than the standards that we, as Mormons are given. When as a little 12 year old I was trying to get all they way through the Book of Mormon for the first time, I started to pray about it and ask my Heavenly Father if it really was true. I got the got the undeniable answer that it was all true. The gospel means every thing to me, and I know that I would be completely lost without such an important part of my life.

How I live my faith

One major opportunity I had to live my faith was when I lived in Maryland, I was thrust into this world completely different from where I lived before where about 10% of the population were members of the church, to where I was the only Mormon in my school. I was overwhelmed by the experience of being different from almost very one. I decided I had to become a light and embrace how different I was and help my friends to understand who the Mormons are and what we believe in. I also have had the opportunity to serve in leadership positions in church group and in my school.
