Hi I'm Morgan

Avid Photographer & Artist. Strong believer in everything happens for a reason. SISTER MISSIONARY. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Born and raised in Utah. I have a huge-crazy-confusing family. (ha) But they are definitely one in a million. I love experiencing new adventures, and of course capturing it all on film. I'm a photographer, artist, violinist, sister, daughter, girlfriend, bestfriend, dog lover, individual and right now A MISSIONARY! Some of my favorite pass times are looking thru old pictures, going on walks, taking naps, making delicious treats (baked goods) and meeting new people. I'm a college student at University of Utah, but currently am serving as a Missionary in the Chesapeake, Virginia Mission - Spanish Speaking! I love waking up and seeing so much beauty around me... Life isn't perfect and definitely throws challenges your way... but that's what makes it worth while. I believe in always bettering yourself and striving to push yourself to lengths you didn't know you could reach.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a 1000 plus reasons, but the ulitmate reason is because this gospel brings so much JOY into my life. It gives me something to turn to when everything else around me is so inconsistent. When nothing seems to be going right, I'm reminded of the divine help I've been promised from our loving Heavenly Father. He doesn't demand perfection, but allows improvement. I love this gospel because it truely is a saving message and gives me so much hope in this life. This gospel helps me to be a better person and improve. I love this gospel because it never changes. It's the same today, yesterday, and forever. I love knowing that I don't have to be perfect, and that with the help of the Savior and with faith, I can overcome all of life's biggest challenges, have my weaknesses made into strengths, and be forgiven of my short comings. This life is hard, and always will be, but I know that because of this Gospel - The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints- we can find many reasons to be happy and be given the strength we all so desperately need. One of the ways I have grown to love is through sincere prayer and reading the Book of Mormon, these are things that help me to come closer to our Heavenly Father and feel of His love for me individually and be reminded of all the wonderful things He has planned for me.

How I live my faith

Right now more then anything, I'm living my faith by dedicating 100% of my life to the Savior for 18 months and serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I spend everyday all day sharing the message of the restoration of Jesus Christ's gospel with others and trying to help them come closer to the Savior. It is by far the most challenging but also rewarding experience I've had thus far in my life. There's no where else I'd rather be! However, this aside...I'm a strong believer in "Actions speak louder then Words." I believe in being honest, kind, and compassionate towards others and most importantly trying my hardest to love everyone. The knowledge that we are all children of God is something that definitely motivates me and helps me to love everyone. I believe love is one the most important things we can do for people on this Earth. I try each day to be a little better then the day before, and am striving to be more like our Savior - Jesus Christ. I'm so grateful for the oppurtunity we have to better ourselves and repent of our short comings because of Him. Before my mission I lived my faith by teaching the 5 year olds in our church on sundays and with the young women as an advisor and leader at the camps we go to each year.
