Hi I'm Sierra

I love photography. I finished a year of college at UVU. I have recently decided to serve an LDS mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I studied for a year at Utah Valley University. I love exploring the outdoors and nature photography. I am currently serving a full-time mission in the Ohio Cincinnati Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up in the church for practically my whole life. My mom was an inactive member and my dad wasn't a member, but the missionaries started meeting with them and my dad later became baptized. I have two older brothers, one was baptized at 10-11, but fell away at the age of 14. I have another brother, who is the oldest, who was never baptized in the church. While I grew up in the gospel, I didn't fully appreciate it. Church was just where my friends were and where I could go to talk to people. I took the classes for granted and didn't really learn much. During the summers of high school I never really went to church. I didn't find it important. However I started going to church again, and every Sunday after church I just felt happy and peaceful. I noticed that when I didn't attend church, the feeling wasn't there. I became more active and have since realized the blessings in my life that come from having the gospel in it. It is my simple testimony, that I know this church is true. I know the gospel is here to help us. I know that Heavenly Father sent his son to atone for our sins and because of that, we can remain clean so that we can live with our families forever in the presence of God. That's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Well, I am currently a missionary in the Ohio Cincinnati Mission. I have left my friends and family for 18 months to help the people in Ohio. My purpose is help other draw closer to Christ and to their Heavenly Father. As a missionary we teach people about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and serve them in any way we can.
